New Recipe.

Last night we tried a new recipe, which we altered to fit our budget, Mango Pork Tempura. It was super super delicious. It has pureed FRESH Mango, Pineapple, Orange Juice, and Lime Juice. We cubed the pork ourselves from a large Pork Loin and made our Tempura batter from scratch. IT took a long time to prepare and make the meal, but it was well worth it. It was so fresh tasting and absolutely amazing. We definitely will make this again and we are excited to try it with different meats depending on our mood.

It has been a very long time since we last posted. We do not have the Internet at our house so it is hard to keep currant. We are now living out in Lund, Nevada, and we love it there. It is so nice to be out in the country and living on a ranch, I really enjoy it. This weekend we are going to the temple to be sealed as an eternal family. I am so grateful to have my boys FOREVER!! I love my family very much, they mean everything to me. Here are some pictures of the currant happenings in our life.

This is Boss, he is a Jack Russell Terrier. He is Ryder's protector. He loves him and always cuddles up to him when he gets the chance.
Last week we bought these sweet shades for Ryder, He looks so cool in them.
This is such a sweet picture, Ryder had been running a fever and we never found out why, it just came, stayed for two days, and then went. Very strange, but he was so cuddly the whole week, I enjoyed that part of his being sick because now he won't hold still and cuddle with me for anything.
Haircut Time!! Ryder has had 2 haircuts in the 10 months of his life, his hair grows very quickly. He does pretty well when I cut his hair. This last time it was very long.
Here is the result picture, he was totally tired after so his eyes are teared up. His haircut makes him look a lot older. He is such a big boy.
We always find Ryder is funny positions when he is sleeping. This was one of the cutest positions we saw him in, he loves his Teddy and his Tigger (we call him Hobbes though).
This was on his blessing day, he was so handsome and so big. We waited until Logan would be able to bless him, it took a while to get there but it was totally worth it.
BATH TIME!! Ryder has the brightest blue eyes, they almost stop you in your tracks. He loves baths and he has just figured out how much fun splashing is.
He is such a HAM! He loves to pull faces and loves laughing. Sometime he will be crawling around and playing and then he will just start laughing. He is so fun to be with.
My sweet Ryder. I love this boy so much. I can't imagine him not being a part of my little family. He brings so much joy and love into our lives. I can't wait till he can run around and play and brings home all kinds of creatures, he will be just like his Daddy when he was a little monster. He is a sweetheart.
Ryder loves to wiggle and move, for a while he could not hold still when he was in his high chair. He is one wild boy.

Halloween

We had such a great Halloween spending time with our family in Utah.  The little boys were so cute in their costumes. This is our little Super Ryder, he was so cute has Superman.  He is getting so big. He is starting to get a tooth on the bottom, hopefully it'll come in soon so he will be able to sleep better.
Rrrrrrr. . . Graham-Beard.  Laura is so creative, Graham was such a great Pirate.
We love you guys!
The two boys!!  They are so cute and they are starting to interact more with each other.  They are eight months apart but Ryder is almost as tall as Graham.
This is sweet little Anabelle and Ryder when she was here in September.  She is so darn cute!
Ryder's shirt from his Nana.  He is so cute in it.  Thanks Nana!!  Muah!  :)

Ryder and Cereal

On Saturday night we gave Ryder his first taste of cereal.
We followed the instructions on the box for "Baby's first
feeding." They said to make it really runny for the baby to
try, Ryder was not interested. So we made it thick. It is
so exciting to watch our little boy grow up. He is so sweet
and so cute. We love him so much. Today he is FOUR months
old, can't even believe it. Enjoy the show, it is a little long
but oh so cute!

Our New Project

This is our bathroom. There will be lots of updating done here.
Our kitchen. It is a pretty good size. We are planning to remodel here too.
This is our living room. Yes there is a ton of wood paneling. In the summer we are planning on replacing it all with dry wall. But for now it isn't so bad.
And this is sweet Ryder bundled up. It was snowing this day for the first time. Ryder's first snow. We have not bought many winter clothes yet. I think it is now time. He is getting so big and he is so happy and smiling and laughing all the time. It is so fun to watch him grow up. He looks like a chunk in this picture, but he has two pairs of pants on.
Things with us are going great but are really busy. Logan is really enjoying his new job. He likes working with all the boys in the home. It can be challenging and tiring, but he likes it. I am still taking my two online classes. They are going pretty well. My math class is a lot harder than I expected, but it's good to finally have my brain hurt from studying, it has been a long time. Well there's the newest update on us.

Ryder. . . growing so fast!

Our sweet boy is growing so fast. We've been super busy lately and we don't have the Internet in our apartment so we usually only update when we come down to Salt Lake to Nana and Papa C's. This past week we were up in Idaho at the Saxton family reunion, we stayed at Larry and Gail Miller's cabin. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been. We loved being there. I just wanted to post a few pictures of our sweet baby boy so everyone can see him and how big he is getting so fast. We love you all!

This is Ryder's towel. I chose between the ducky towel and this one. I LOVE duckies, but I opted for the puppy towel, it fits him better.
This is his styling hat, we got it on a sale, such a good score, to help keep his head from getting sunburned at the reunion. It has octopi on the top!
Hanging out with Dad on the futon. I walked downstairs and this is what I saw right away. I love my boys! We didn't place Ryder like that, he did it his own, I'll admit I had Logan put his arms out the mimic him.
This is the shirt Papa C bought for him. All three of his grand babies have these, well Graham and Ryder have the shirts and pants with cars, and cute little Anabelle has a bib I believe.
My laundry buddy, just hanging out in the basket while I switch and fold loads. What a sweetheart! Pretty soon he won't fit in one anymore.

Baby's Room (Post 3 of 3)

Lately I have been in the "nesting" mood as they call it in the What to Expect book. I have been trying to get the baby's room all finished. I still have some stuff left to do, furniture to move in, and pictures to hang on the wall, but it looks pretty good so far.

I've done a few projects as well for his room. The first one I bought some wooden letters and toys from the craft store and painted them dark blue,  a lighter green, and brown. It was fun and a way to spend my time. Here's the finished pieces. Eventually we'll put his name on the wall. Oh also we've decided to name him Ryder Keith.

This is a picture of his vibrating bounce chair that we got from someone in our parents ward. I love getting things so we don't have to buy them, it's very convenient. The mat next to it I made out of foam puzzle pieces I also found at the craft store and placed together to form a small play mat. It will probably be a while until he'll be big enough to use it as a play mat, but for now it adds some color.
We also got this swing from the same family, along with a car seat, it'll be nice to have this to place him in while I clean the house or make dinner.
This is his crib all ready for him with the mattress and blankets. We were never able to find a cute inexpensive crib set so we are just using blankets, but it still looks cute. We are so excited for our sweet baby. He is due on Wednesday, but could come any day.
I apologize that the lighting in the pictures is so poor, it was very bright in the room and difficult to get the lighting right. I need to work more on my photography skills.
