Halloween

We had such a great Halloween spending time with our family in Utah.  The little boys were so cute in their costumes. This is our little Super Ryder, he was so cute has Superman.  He is getting so big. He is starting to get a tooth on the bottom, hopefully it'll come in soon so he will be able to sleep better.
Rrrrrrr. . . Graham-Beard.  Laura is so creative, Graham was such a great Pirate.
We love you guys!
The two boys!!  They are so cute and they are starting to interact more with each other.  They are eight months apart but Ryder is almost as tall as Graham.
This is sweet little Anabelle and Ryder when she was here in September.  She is so darn cute!
Ryder's shirt from his Nana.  He is so cute in it.  Thanks Nana!!  Muah!  :)

Ryder and Cereal

On Saturday night we gave Ryder his first taste of cereal.
We followed the instructions on the box for "Baby's first
feeding." They said to make it really runny for the baby to
try, Ryder was not interested. So we made it thick. It is
so exciting to watch our little boy grow up. He is so sweet
and so cute. We love him so much. Today he is FOUR months
old, can't even believe it. Enjoy the show, it is a little long
but oh so cute!

Our New Project

This is our bathroom. There will be lots of updating done here.
Our kitchen. It is a pretty good size. We are planning to remodel here too.
This is our living room. Yes there is a ton of wood paneling. In the summer we are planning on replacing it all with dry wall. But for now it isn't so bad.
And this is sweet Ryder bundled up. It was snowing this day for the first time. Ryder's first snow. We have not bought many winter clothes yet. I think it is now time. He is getting so big and he is so happy and smiling and laughing all the time. It is so fun to watch him grow up. He looks like a chunk in this picture, but he has two pairs of pants on.
Things with us are going great but are really busy. Logan is really enjoying his new job. He likes working with all the boys in the home. It can be challenging and tiring, but he likes it. I am still taking my two online classes. They are going pretty well. My math class is a lot harder than I expected, but it's good to finally have my brain hurt from studying, it has been a long time. Well there's the newest update on us.

Here are a few pictures of our growing boy.
He is such a handsome little guy.
I have so much fun with him all day long.

Graham loves hanging out with Ryder and giving him kisses.
It is the cutest thing to see.

Ryder. . . growing so fast!

Our sweet boy is growing so fast. We've been super busy lately and we don't have the Internet in our apartment so we usually only update when we come down to Salt Lake to Nana and Papa C's. This past week we were up in Idaho at the Saxton family reunion, we stayed at Larry and Gail Miller's cabin. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been. We loved being there. I just wanted to post a few pictures of our sweet baby boy so everyone can see him and how big he is getting so fast. We love you all!

This is Ryder's towel. I chose between the ducky towel and this one. I LOVE duckies, but I opted for the puppy towel, it fits him better.
This is his styling hat, we got it on a sale, such a good score, to help keep his head from getting sunburned at the reunion. It has octopi on the top!
Hanging out with Dad on the futon. I walked downstairs and this is what I saw right away. I love my boys! We didn't place Ryder like that, he did it his own, I'll admit I had Logan put his arms out the mimic him.
This is the shirt Papa C bought for him. All three of his grand babies have these, well Graham and Ryder have the shirts and pants with cars, and cute little Anabelle has a bib I believe.
My laundry buddy, just hanging out in the basket while I switch and fold loads. What a sweetheart! Pretty soon he won't fit in one anymore.

Baby's Room (Post 3 of 3)

Lately I have been in the "nesting" mood as they call it in the What to Expect book. I have been trying to get the baby's room all finished. I still have some stuff left to do, furniture to move in, and pictures to hang on the wall, but it looks pretty good so far.

I've done a few projects as well for his room. The first one I bought some wooden letters and toys from the craft store and painted them dark blue,  a lighter green, and brown. It was fun and a way to spend my time. Here's the finished pieces. Eventually we'll put his name on the wall. Oh also we've decided to name him Ryder Keith.

This is a picture of his vibrating bounce chair that we got from someone in our parents ward. I love getting things so we don't have to buy them, it's very convenient. The mat next to it I made out of foam puzzle pieces I also found at the craft store and placed together to form a small play mat. It will probably be a while until he'll be big enough to use it as a play mat, but for now it adds some color.
We also got this swing from the same family, along with a car seat, it'll be nice to have this to place him in while I clean the house or make dinner.
This is his crib all ready for him with the mattress and blankets. We were never able to find a cute inexpensive crib set so we are just using blankets, but it still looks cute. We are so excited for our sweet baby. He is due on Wednesday, but could come any day.
I apologize that the lighting in the pictures is so poor, it was very bright in the room and difficult to get the lighting right. I need to work more on my photography skills.

Our new place. . . (Post 2 of 3)

It sure has been a very long time since I've updated the blog. I apologize. We have had a lot going on and are finally settled down a bit, for the time being. We currently are living up in Cache Valley, and we LOVE it! We live in a two bedroom townhouse, they were built in November and are very nice. Here are a few pictures of our place. We are still trying to get it set up completely and when it is all finished we'll post more picture.

This is our kitchen table. It was Logan's Mom's and we are getting to use it. It's nice to have a table.
A picture of part of our kitchen. Logan is getting dinner ready. This day we had Mom and Dad Henderson and Laura, Alex, and Graham over for dinner.
We have 1.5 bathrooms in our place. This is a picture of the half bath, its just off the kitchen by our back door.
Logan got me this for Christmas. We are going to put it in our second bedroom above. . .
Our crib. We are having a baby boy. He is due on Wednesday. We love this crib, it has a changing table attached. It is one of those cribs that is a 4-in-1 set. It can change from a crib, to a toddler bed, to a daybed, and then to a full. It also came with a hamper and has the trundle drawer underneath for extra storage. We got the crib at Target for a really good deal.

Fishing (Post 1 of 3)

So I have never really been fishing before and since we are now living in Cache Valley, Logan has decided to take me fishing a lot. This day we got up at 3:45 AM to go fishing at Porcupine Reservoir which is located in Avon, about a 45 min drive south of our home. We didn't have any luck there so at about 1:00 in the afternoon we went over to First Dam, just down the street from campus. By this time I was pretty skeptical that fish even existed since this was our sixth attempt of fishing and still we hadn't caught any fish, but when we arrived we saw some guys catching fish, so we knew they were there. So we set up our chairs and got ready to catch some fish. It had been a long day but after about being at the new spot for about 30-45 mins, I FINALLY CAUGHT A FISH!!
It was very exciting. It was only a little fish, but still my very first fish. Here's the lucky fish. . .
Later on Memorial Day we were down in Payson for Logan's grandpa's 75th Birthday and decided to go fishing again. This day we only woke up at 6:00 AM and went to Payson Canyon. Again we didn't have any luck, so later after the party we stopped off at Salem Pond to do some small fishing. But amazingly we caught a lot of fish this day. This is a picture of me catching TWO, count them, two fish on the same fishing pole. It was so cool!
These are our little ducklings at First Dam. They are our buds, whenever we go there to fish they always come swim over by us. I have grown very fond of them. There were originally eight of them, but after about two weeks there were only five left. We don't know what happened to those three ducklings, but we like to think that they were adopted, not another thing.
So fuzzy and so super cute!

Introductions. . .

I would like to introduce you all to Logan Loveless. He is the love of my life. We have so much fun together, he is my best friend. He is so very sweet and so handsome. We have been dating again quietly for 8 months. I couldn't be any happier. I hope one day soon you are all able to meet him and get to know and love him as I do. Here are a few pictures of us and the fun times we have had together. . .
We went to Arches in September. It was very fun. It started pouring on about our third and longest hike but we just kept hiking. It was a great time, we were too drenched to take any pictures.
Here he is on the Ranch in Nevada when we were branding. He is so strong, he's able to tackle a cow all by himself. Ha ha not to sound like I'm bragging or anything.
This was a few months ago, we took this one night after one of our famous home cooked steak dinners. We love our meat, and we enjoy cooking together a lot.
He is such a stud. He had an interview that he had to get dressed up for so we went and bought him this outfit. This was the first time I had ever seen him dressed up this way. He is cute. Later we took the outfit back. But our goal is to go buy it again.
And this is us right before Christmas. We had a very nice dinner together and then got some hot chocolate and walked down to Temple Square. It was very beautiful and it was the first time we had been there together. It was wonderful.

Thank you for taking the time to read my mushy blog about Logan. I can get a little carried away sometimes. I am a huge romantic and he fits right in to my romantic hopes. He is my modern day Prince Charming and he couldn't make me feel more like a Princess or more loved than he already does. Despite the trials that we have endured together, we are more in love than ever. We respect each other and are able to talk to each other about anything and everything. I couldn't imagine my life without him, and I don't ever want to.

I will try to keep everyone updated more than I am, it has been a while since I updated my blog, I will work harder on that. I wish everyone well.
